What a marvel of a hotel -- easily the best we found in a month-long tour of Sicily last November! It is like some secret garden, a cloistered serenity -- not surprising perhaps, since it is in fact a beautifully restored former monastery, made of the cream-colored limestone that is echoed in the characteristic stone walls of the surrounding fields.... more
