My husband and I just returned from our honeymoon in Italy. We spent three days at a B&B in Venice and then rented an apartment at Fattoria La Torre for a week. We had rented it intending to use the figline train to do sightseeing trips, but as soon as we arrived we didn't want to go anywhere else! Our apartment, La Torre, is the one bedroom apartment available. It had stone walls, an old corner fireplace (that we used every night) and perfect sized kitchen and a great bedroom upstairs that was so quiet, we had a hard time waking up every morning! The staff and the family that run the farm were amazing, giving us a bottle of wine and home-made olive oil on arrival, and even a traditional colomba cake for Easter!

The town of Reggello is wonderful and friendly, with not a lot of tourists. We loved walking to town every day to go to the market and the butcher to buy local food and then cook gourmet feasts at night. The pool looked amazing, but wasn't open until May... more
