We have just returned from a lovely holiday in Riva del garda - stayed at the Hotel Gardesana. Apart from lack of air conditioning (a fan can be hired for 2 euros per day) this proved to be a great little hotel. Lovely staff; super food - especially the evening meal. This was an excellent hotel to spend seven nights in. I booked it through the Travel Department and it was my first time booking a trip with them. It was a super experience. The hotel itself is immaculate, the food was second to none. The dinner menu changes every night, but you have to make your decision at breakfast time.... more

After a four hour drive from Milan Linate Airport (stopping for lunch for 45 mins) we arrived at Hotel Gardesana where we were received our room keys quickly and efficently.
