Hotel fine, pool smallish and cold but hey it was October! Staff are super, very attentive and sincerely friendly. Very easy to get around using bus and train, hotel well placed for both.Tthe Trattatoria Rossa 5 mins away excellent food and value! Would happlily stay again!! more

The Caravel is in a quiet area of Sorrento, not in the very tourist area. the meals were an excellent choice of Traditional and modern. We stayed in Caravel hotel for 5 nights as a basis for our Campania trip. We booked via the hotel website and the rate was 81 Euro per day for a double room and breakfast. After a few days I saw that the rate has been lower to 66 Euro per day because it was the end of the season.... more

this was our 5th time at the caravel, and although there is a new manager it is still well run. the hotel is a gem. lovely staff always helpful .good food .clean rooms .and a lovely pool area.the bar staff MAX and PEPI are like friends and are always welcoming. we will be back. more
