Offered 2 rooms on floors 1 and3 of this package holiday hotel after refusing to stay in the dreadful villa on site. Think Benidorn in the 1970's. Of course our children were not happy to stay in this situation so we stayed in the dreadful partner hotel on site, Residenza Staff unhelpful, obstructive and ruined our stay in Sorrento. Stayed at this hotel in late May 2006, after booking with a UK tour operator. The location would be excellent, providing that the advertised shuttle service to the local beach was consistent and punctual, although our half board package would probaby have been better off as B&B or room only, in order to fully enjoy the local nightlife and cuisine.... more
