“Day after cruise”

We decided to spend a day in Savona after our cruise, rather than rushing back to Genoa for our flight home. We chose the Mare Hotel for its location by the sea. “Ideal pre-cruise hotel??”

If its a nice day and you can spend it the beach, stay here. If its raining, it's out of the way and a 15 euro ride each way into town or a 2.50 Euro ride on the number six bus, which stops right outside the door. Ask for room 408. It's huge, has a nice view of the water... More

“Design, Good taste, Details”

Very good hotel, friendly staff, always ready to help, beautiful view, very nice rooms, great breakfast. It is well located, right at the beach. Very nice pool and restaurant area. The details, in every place, are the "must". At low season prices are very good.

Big tip, double check the quoted prices. We were not told that during the winter the weekday price is 20 euros more than the weekend price we were quoted. “On the beach”

Great location in Savona. Easy to find and right on the water. Make sure to get an ocean view room on the upper floors and leave your door open. Great restaurant in the hotel. Rooms are not special, but fine for a short stay.

Hotel was very nice with about 70 rooms. Rooms can be better cleaned. We had a seaview room (rooms at the street side are quite noisy). Directly pool & sea view in a renovated room on the 1st floor.
