Well if it wasn't 4500miles away, we would surely visit there every weekend! Acres drenched in history, hostess with a heart of gold and a loving dog to lead you into tuscan forests...it is indeed a place to go back to! More

As the massive gates opened and we drove down the path toward this incredibly beautiful villa, we knew we were in Paradise! We stayed in the lovely Melangrano apartment with all the amenities of home. There was a fully equipped kitchen, large living and dining areas combined, bedroom with a loft and nice bathroom. The grounds with fruit trees, olive... More

Costanza the hostess is a passionate and articulate advocate for the history and culture of her home. The 10 acre estate is a wonderful haven in the fringe of an urban area, handy to Florence and the motorway. It does take a good 15 minutes to walk to the station, and then another 15 minutes on the train to Florence.... More

The Filippi family have created an oasis, a veritable Eden for savvy travelers who wish to be super close to Florence without having the consternation of being in the middle of what has become a very crowded and touristy city. As others have stated, the gardens and orchards are beyond beautiful. The suites, each unique, are comfortable, fully equipped and... More

When we first pulled up to Villa Paradisino, I thought the cab driver had it all wrong. I was expecting a Villa out in the countryside. In fact, we were in a busy, but small suburb. The magic of this place is that it is so close to Florence, but once you enter the gates of Villa Paradisino, you are... More

It is difficult to add to all the other glowing reviews but here goes. We stayed at Villa Il Paradasino for 2 weeks at the end of August/beginning September and had a wonderful time. It was super to have our own excellent accommodation, with a really comfortable bed (Il Giuggiolo), while having the services of a 5 star hotel, with... More

We stayed here for four nights, and wished we had more time. The estate is wonderful, it was great to just wander around and look at all the things they grow. When we came there were fresh eggs, grapes and olive oil in the kitchen, and we got more eggs during the stay. Constanza makes great food, we had a... More

Having spent the previous week with Italian relatives, it was wonderful to find a place to stay offering the same home from home feel - and so close to Florence. The rooms are full of character, but what makes this such a unique property are its gardens, with the pool surrounded by lemon, walnut, olive trees and vines; and its... More

We have just come home after spending two lovely weeks at Villa il Paradisino. Everything about it is perfect, from the grounds (which are heavenly - olive trees, beautiful plantings of flowers and shrubs, vines and vegetable garden) to our apartment itself. We stayed in the 2 bedded apartment, Il Giuggiolo, which has fabulous vaulted ceilings, and antique furniture (and,... More
