This hotel was o.k. but nothing special and also overpriced. It was very quiet, the only other people there seemed to appear out of the woodwork at dinner and then all talk together in a very middle class, hushed tone sort of way - there was no atmosphere. After visiting Spoleto for the day, we drove 15 min North to Poreta, a very small town overlooked by a ruined wall surrounding the hotel Castello di Poreta. We found ourselves the only guests in the hotel and only 1 of 2 couples in the restaurant (excellent, highly recommended). The hotel was very clean and obviously very quiet. The sunset... more
