We just returned from two nights at the Crispolti Holiday House in Todi. Given the limited reviews available on-line we were a little concerned about what we would find there. Suffice it to say that our stay was completely enjoyable and the hotel was more than adequate for our needs.
During our trip through Umbria we found that staying within the walled city (rather than the outskirts, or in the more modern parts of town) greatly enhanced our visits. The ability to walk anywhere we wanted to go (restaurants, bars, shops, churches, etc.) through the old narrow streets made each visit a remarkable experience. In addition to the Crispolti House there were limited options within the walled city of Todi. The others were either above our budget or typical B&B's, which we do not prefer.
