We booked the hotel simply as a stop over from Luxe on our way to Cinque Terre. We arrived in a driving rain storm and the Hotel staff were ready and waiting with umbrellas and smiles to help us in. We stayed at this lovely Hotel for three nights at the end of a three week trip to Italy. It was convenient to the airport and my husband use to live in Varese and he wanted to show me the area. Hard to find, but definately worth the effort, this former nobleman's chateau built in the 17th century is set on a hill in a park like estate.
