We found this hotel from the tourist agency in town who only spoke Italian. The car parking is quite far away and they had a small cart to help us with luggage. Being out of season the guests were mostly Italian and one older lady was overseeing a small group of poorly behaved disabled teenagers who would come into our... more

What you are paying for at the Hotel Seggio is the position - and it is a good one - in Vieste's old town, with the private beach. The rooms are dated, the bathrooms are tiny, and it had the smallest shower I've ever seen. However, our room at least was clean. It is a three star hotel, and it... more

Lovely staff, great location, fine breakfast, spacious bedroom - couldn't ask for more. Did not have a sea view but went into one of the sea-view rooms - stunning view from a small balcony - will have next time. All food at all restaurants was excellent. Met no one with a complaint - paid from 36euro to 65 for two... more

We stayed at the Seggio during a Rick Steeves tour. Our room was slightly above average compared to the other hotels we stayed at on our tour. The bed was more confortable than several others we slept on and the room had a safe, TV, small frig and a computer to use downstairs. The shower was extremely small and the... more

I just assumed it was with at balcany since she didnt ask if we wanted this and it looked like it had it on the pictures online. We payd 150 euros... more

Despite the many positive reviews on tripadvisor and various guidebooks, we made a terrible experience at Hotel Segio. One must know that not all rooms are refurbished and modern. Some rooms are really old. Such an old wooden cage has been given to us. The walls were made of wood, the bathroom was not completely clean. We complained about that... more

Spent four nights here in very early season. Vieste itself we found a rather disappointing town, somewhat drab and dull, but then we were close to being the first people staying in the hotel for the season. The hotel more than made up for any concerns we had about the short-comings of the town; it was very comfortable, warm, spotlessly... more

As soon as I arrived in Vieste (albeit after a 3 hour bus journey on twisty narrow roads) I knew instantly that I would love the place and I was proved right. Vieste actually exceeded my expectations - lovely, lovely wee town with great, clean beaches, numerous tasty and inexpensive restaurants and ice-cream parlours, a lovely laid back atmosphere and... more

We can’t say enough good things about this hotel – the location, the room, and the service. First, unlike the other hotels in Vieste, which are either on a very wide, flat beach outside of town, or not on the beach at all, Hotel Seggio hugs the side of a cliff leading down to a pool and small private beach... more

My wife and I just spent 8 nights in what has become a favourite retreat. We are greeted by the family as friends and we note that other guests seem to be equally well treated. We booked in February and requested the top floor large terrace room (actually twin and single rooms ensuite) and were delighted to get this. Views... more
