Fantastic hotel. Wasnt always that way however the last two owners have brought the hotel up a few notches. It now feels and looks a real Scottish hotel and visitors especially golfers should make a point of staying here. The championship golf course (in Top 100) is only half mile away. Staff are courteous and friendly and the present owners have... More

Very good hotel experience. Room was very good (with garden view). Hotel breakfast, resturant and lounge bar was very good plus lounge with log fire - food was excellent. Public bar had character - it isnt a chain and is typical old fashioned scottish "pub". Good beer garden but I didnt brave it! Hotel is run by team of prof's... More

We didn't stay here, just stopped for lunch on our way around the coast. A pretty building with lots of outside seating. The bar is welcoming with warm friendly staff and a good menu. The food was tasty, would recommend this to anyone.

I had the pleasure of four nights at the Kilmarnock Arms most recently. Everything was just right. A nice clean room with everything one needs. The hotel itself is in an old building, steeped in history and the recent renovations make it all the better. There is a pub in the building that only adds to the charm. The food... More

We live relatively locally to The Kilmarnock Arms and once a month or so, we go for dinner. The welcome, ambience, meals and service have been consistently very good. Would highly recommend to anyone.

I visited the "Killie" after being away from Cruden Bay for a number of years, after returning for a family visit we decided to go for dinner at "the Killie". The food was great and the service & atmosphere were very warming. 10 out of 10. I look forward to going back.

We stayed here last summer on a self tour of Scotland. Everyone was very welcoming. We ate both dinner and breakfast in the hotel and both were very good. The waitress at breakfast even printed out the morning weather forecast for us, it was rainy but clearing in a few hours. Since we were hoping to golf on the excellent... More

Popped in for a quick bite after a bank holiday stroll on the beach at Cruden Bay. Very pleasant staff and customers alike. Had never been in before but would definately go in again. Slight hiccup at the start when we were handed different menus. Unfortunately I got the wrong one and was disappointed to find that my first and... More

Excellent welcome. Even the locals helped me in with my bags. The room was excellent and looked new. Facilities were again excellent, loads of room and comfort. A couple of beers in the very friendly bar and a really good nights sleep. very quiet room even though it overlooked the street. Breakfast was excellent and once again, the staff were... More

Stayed here for a night while on business in the area, was a last minute booking but what a good hotel. The staff was fantastic, very friendly and nothing a bother to them. Food in the hotel was also superb with a good choice on the menu. My room was very clean and fitments of a good quality, bed was... More
