Sharvedda has really a beautiful position: when you're having breakfast you can sea the moor but also the coast, which is striking. We have just stayed for two nights. The house is located in a privileged location with spectacular views from a charming conservatory. Our room was decorated with lively Sanderson textiles. Our host made us feel at home at every moment and with every detail including the homemade raspberry and Seville orange jams at breakfast. Lovely.

Patsy gave us a warm welcome to a very comfortable room The breakfast was fab. Local smoked haddock with poached eggs was excellent. The home produced jams were delightful. Good location for cliff or beach walks. This will become a must stay on our Scottish tours.

Our party of 2 couples was accomodated in 2 delightful ensuite bedrooms. Patsy welcomed us warmly with tea and homebakes and provided dinner menus from a selection of local venues (fish suppers & pub grub to fine dining). This is a really comfortable, spotless and cosy place to stay. Patsy is extremely thoughtful and pleasant, and very helpful concerning local places to eat.
