It definitely is a great location, on a fairly quiet road outside the small village of Ottrott, opposite Le Clos des Delices. We had nice rooms with a balcony and a view on the road and a green mountain where the birds sing their evening songs. The rooms and the restaurant, well actually the whole place could use some redecorating, it is all a bit old and a bit dull. There is a lovely little stream and a lake but you can't really enjoy them, a nice terrace alongside it would be nice. The terrain is quite large, but not much is done with it which is a shame because it could be a haven of relaxation even more.
As far as service and friendliness goes, I have no complaints at all, the friendly smiling faces, so typical of the Alsace are a real pleasure. 80 Euros is good enough value for money. more
