We booked this hotel online - the pictures looked decent and we wanted to stay in Arcachon for the surfing. When we arrived, the room was filthy, spider webs everywhere, at the back of a damp courtyard. The shower did not work either - absolutely horrific. We left and stayed in an Ibis up the road that night. No chance... More

screw-heads on show, badly cut architrave, bad painting, unable to get the "free wifi", but clean and close to beach and town, but won't be back unless the owner allows me to bring my toolkit.

This is a charming, slightly bohemian small hotel, in a 'shabby chic' way. The room was clean, but in need of redecoration. The patio in need of some flowers. However it is just minutes from the beach which is a huge plus and dining and sitting areas are delighful.

We all fell in love with the hotel simplicity, atmosphere, and price. It's a longish walk to the Center, but access to the water is close and intimate.
