Really enjoyed staying here for one night. We ate at the hotel too - and the food was amaxing - not spoilt by any Michelin stars - the food was highly recommended. A night in May was my second in this hotel and confirmed the nice memories of the previous stay. The rooms are individually decorated in a country style, spacious and comfortable. The restaurant is simply excellent. It is worth taking the half-board option if you choose to stay here. Be aware that parking is tricky. You have to get one... more
Very warm welcome to this utterly charming hotel in the small medieval part of Montlucon. Parking fairly disastrous and my GPS navigator directed me endlessly into "No entry" streets. Rooms antique furnished, maybe a little "Laura Ashley" in style. Bathrooms excellent but rather ornate. Excellent dinner and very extensive wine list. I visited this hotel for a long weekend in May and was very pleased with the beautiful room, lovely garden, in-town location, absolutely great staff, personal attention of the owners, and top flight food. I will certainly return for another weekend soon. more
