Contrary to other reviews, we had a most enjoyable 6-night stay at this hotel. Ok, the decor could do with refreshing but it is a typical French 3star hotel. One enters the Hotel into a small but smart reception - half of which is a small bar. Access to upper floors is via stairs or via a small and very slow lift - an important consideration if arriving with a larger party! An example of a hotel that lacks ambition. Everything runs quite efficiently but it lacks any flair. Don't accept a room on the top floor if a gale is expected - the rattling roof tiles will ruin your sleep. Our room seemed very tired, and would beenfit from redecoration.
