This is a mid-priced 3* hotel very conveniently situated some 10 minutes off the A6 autoroute (exit Macon nord) in a pleasant location on the banks of the river Saone on the outskirts of Macon. (town centre about a 5-minute drive away , parking available on the riverside.) The hotel parking is free and secure, very good for an overnight... more

Just awful, web info very misleading re location & standard of hotel. It's a good walk from the centre of town (but it is handy for the previously mentioned cave - but if you want lunch there get in before 2.15pm as the menu is extremely limited from 2.15 on the dot!). On our way to the French Alps we decided to make an overnight stay in this Hotel in Macon. The reason we chose Macon was the fine wines you can find in this region.
