My husband and I just returned from a 2 week stay in this region of France. The Chateau des Poccards was certainly a highlight of our stay. Catherine and Ivan, the owners of the chateau, have totally restored this home into a elegant and comfortable place to stay. The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms modern and spotlessly clean. They provide a wonderful continental breakfast each morning. Catherine was so helpful in recommending restaurants at all price levels. The B&B is located in the country overlooking vineyards, but close enough to restaurants in Macon and elsewhere. A very lovely place to stay.
