This is a small family run hotel in the center of Nevers, Bourgogne, just some hundred meters from the central train station and car rental offices. The hotel is located in an old building. Thus the rooms vary in size and design. Some rooms are somewhat dark during day time, but OK for sleeping. The hotel is clean and the staff is very helpful. E.g. they let us use their personal lap top. The breakfast is served in white coated cellar and is beyond average for this hotel level. There is also a terrace available for guests. During the opening hours of the affiliated restaurant in the same building, they can serve drinks and food there. Off opening-hours you can bring your own wine or drinks with you.

We can recommend the hotel for travellers who are looking for a nice and functional but inexpensive hotel. more
