My wife and I stayed at the Chateau recently for one night on our way through to Austria. The owner was very welcoming and our room was huge and full of rustic charm with a lovely view over the lake. This is a very old building so don't expect everything to be immaculate, it is a b & b after... More

A disappointing experience. They double booked so when we arrived (family of 5) they put us up in their parents wing of the chateau and the 2 children's rooms were derelict and stripped obviously about to be renovated. We were still charged the same price even with the state of the rooms. Breakfast was served around one big table for... More

Château de Juvigny is magnificent - a truly wonderful building with great-sized rooms looking out over a beautiful lake. But my wife and i left slightly disappointed, just thinking that things could have been so much better - ie our bathroom was horribly basic (not in keeping with the rest of the house), the breakfast was average, the owner was... We´ve stayed at the Chateau for one night and it was absolutely amazing! The location is extraordinary, absolutely peaceful with a little lake in front and a huge park in the backside. The rooms are not too big, but the charm of the rooms beat it all. The host is so nice and helpful and the breakfast tasty. We can... More

A lovely B and B right next to the River Marne. We were travelling on a Sunday but Brigitte, the owner, had booked us into a great auberge for dinner near-by. We stayed in the Suite as we were travelling with our two children. The rooms were comfortable and elegant. We particularly appreciated the care and attention we received as... More

Our three-night stay was simply wonderful! While in need of extensive repairs and renovations, the chateau has centuries of history and charm. Our room was spacious and stylish and our hosts were friendly and helpful. Beautiful grounds and two friendly dogs made our stay both relaxing and enjoyable. (Keeping the dogs out of the breakfast room would be much appreciated... More

Delightfully chateaux, good sized rooms with very comfortable beds, delicious french breakfast, friendly dogs and fabulous (stand-in) host. A number of technical problems that week (electricity and hot water) were handled with charm and humour and didn't detract from the overall stay. Look forward to returning in the future.

We stayed 3 nights, it was a very pleasant experience. Real countryside chateau in a quiet location. Room Nathalie is of a good size, well equipped, consistent in style with the entire house and authentic (not overdecorated with new 'old looking' elements). Breakfast was tasty, served in a beautiful dining room. Landlords were fantastic - friendly, attentive, helpful. To get... More

We enjoyed our stay at this historical property. Owners were friendly and served beautiful breakfasts. We loved the massive rambling garden and the serene lake. Yes it is on the pricey side but you would be looking to enjoy its idyllic surroundings - the lake, gardens, eating in the courtyard with the imposing chateau around you and the experience of... This was a most relaxed stay with friendly and helpful hosts who made us feel most welcome. Our bedroom, on the first floor was decorated in traditional style and proved most comfortable. Breakfast served in a large dining room overlooking the courtyard at the front and sweeping lawns to the rear was varied and plentiful and being served on a... More
