It's worth the detour - although not far away from the motorway. A very pleasant summer stop. We had no trouble with the room, although we weren't on the side near the noisy river. Nice gardens. Excellent dinner on the terrace, and good breakfast. more

Service: Very friendly staff. You get the feel of a small, family run hotel. Room: Room was on the small side but this did not count against it. It was cosy. We also had twin beds but this was the only room left since we booked very late. Room was clean and nice. Not modern but tastefully decorated. The walls... more

My husband and I stayed at this hotel on our way to the south of France for a 20 day break. Unlike other reviewers we weren't met by the owners, in fact the lady on reception was in conversation with a local when we arrived and we got the distinct impression she resented being torn away from it in order... more

Stayed for one night on a long drive back to UK from Provence. It was worth the 20 mins or so drive to get out to lovely village location, after 7 hours spent on the motorway. Ate outside on the patio, food was great, and our host really friendly and welcoming. The room was small, but more than comfortable for... more

We found this to be a very friendly and welcoming hotel, just a short drive south of Reims and therefore convenient for the channel ports if on a motoring holiday. Access is easy, just off the main road (N44), but the village is by-passed, so there's no noise. The hotel is in a large garden with a mill stream flowing... more

We had a stop over here on the way back to Calais, I wish we could have stayed longer! It is about 15mins off motorway, wonderful location right by the river. Lovely welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, great evening meal. The grounds are lovely with a great play area for small children. Our room was very practical, comfortable and with a... more

We stayed at this hotel on our way back to the UK from the South so were tired and looking forward to a relaxing evening with a good meal. We were not disappointed. We enjoyed a chilled glass of wine in the sunny courtyard at the front of hotel before getting ready for an extremely good dinner. The menu was... more

We stayed here with our teenage sons on the way back from the south of France. Arrived in the dark ( thanking the sat nav!). The hotel is attractive and in a lovely garden-the staff were extremely helpful and eager to ensure that we were comfortable. Also spoke excellent English (my French is diabolical). The family room was fine (a... more

Damp, smelly and noisy. We could not open the French door to get fresh air because of the numerous mosquitoes and loud music outside. Most disappointed. more
