Spent Oct half-term in a Canvas Holidays wooden lodge. We were lucky with fantastic weather but have to say that LCDVP is such an excellent campsite anyway. This is a wonderful park and my family (3 children aged 2, 13 & 15) all loved it. The many reviews say everything really. This was our first holiday abroad as a whole family and friends. We stayed in a hotel in Folkestone overnight prior to our moring ferry crossing to Calais, we did this expecting a mission of a drive down to the park, however we were pleasantly surprised how very easy it was and how very well maintained the french roads are.... more
