For a cheap, clean room near Paris you will be hard-pressed to beat Etap. Just be aware that this is like a dorm room with a small, private bathroom. This is a no frills hotel but it also provides a good breakfast for a very good price. We stayed one night on a layover through Paris and this was perfect.... more

We have just returned from a two night stay at this hotel and would go back here any time. Rates were very reasonable for a triple room, plus 5 euros for an eat as much as you like buffet breakfast . The best bit was this hotel has underground secure parking for just 7 euros a day. A real find.... more

We spent three nights at the Etap hotel in Issy in July 2008 (party of 7; 3 rooms.) Rooms were exceptionally clean. Small, no A/C, bare basics but a great value as a base for sightseeing in Paris. Stayed at the ETAP hotel located at Issy-Les-Moulineaux which is actually a suburb right outside of Paris and is easily accessible by the metro. This hotel is very no frills. However, it adequately serves the purpose of having an economic place to sleep. The rooms are larger than many of the hotels in Paris. They were very clean as well.... more
