This hotel was the only so-so accomodation and dining experience during our 2 week visit to France. We stayed here one night which was our last night in France. The hotel setting is quite pretty, the room was attractive (a junior suite) but it smelled "fishy" and stale. The dining room is attractive and the service was good, but of all the meals we had in France this was the most disappointing. The appetizers were good, but the main courses were a let-down. My husband had goose and I had sea bream, we left most of each on our plates. We had booked a "package", which included the lodging, dinner with beverages and breakfast for 410 euro for one night. I feel this was not a good value. We had read good reviews in several tour books (Fodors and Karen Brown), but this wasn't our experience.

Also, the trip to CDG airport from the hotel was a nightmare. Tons of traffic and confusing route made for a harrowing trip! The trip should be about 45 min-1... more
