We were so looking forward to staying here in a chilled, quiet pocket of France, which would serve to be a base for some travelling. We specifically chose it because it was small and part of the Silence Hotels chain, however due to the toilets in the accomodation flushing themselves every 38 seconds (yes I counted!), we have returned home... more

We stayed at Hotel Le Cottage in July '2007. It is an oasis of peace and tranquility within the Argele area. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a superb lunch on the premises, the best in Argeles. The only negative, and this has more to do with the class and consideration of the guests than the hotel... more

we stayed at Le Cottage in July and were very pleased with the hotel facilities, in particular the lovely pool. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, certainly a restful hotel. Our only quibble was the long walk to the beach, around 20-30mins walk in the heat is not so inviting. You can catch the little train to the beach... more

While the hotel is a bit in the outskirts (it's a fair walk to the beach, along an unattractive street), it's a heaven of peace both during the day and at night. A car is necessary IMO. Rooms are not big, as usual in France, but clean and well appointed with good working A/C, minibar, safe deposit box, TV. Ours... more

Ive been to this hotel twice .with my mum and dad as we was makeing arew way to tossa du mar .in spain that area the bedrooms are very French like but clean and nice and the swimming pool is really nice. we stayed 3 nights. staff where very helpfull. . : ) more
