What a fantastic place to stay... Sandrine was most welcoming and helpful and the dining experience provided by her husband Jean-Paul Lecroq was fine dining at its best.We were lucky enough to have a bathroom in one of the turrets with a view if the sky and up the Gorge du Tarn from the window.I am hoping my husband will... The Chateau is old with worn stairs leading to the rooms. It is clean and reasonably well updated. If you like modern decor, look elsewhere. We stayed in the least expensive, small but comfortable room (overlooking the parking lot) in the Chateau for 118 euros for 2 nights (via booking.com). We ate 2 dinners and 1 breakfast in the hotel... More

The approach, although a little scary because of curving narrow roads, is through a beautiful gorge filled with breath-taking views of trees and little villages, a river, and sheer walls of grays and reds and creams, And then you see the castle, which is situated perfectly. The rooms are very nice, service friendly, and a great old dog plops in... More

This is a beautiful chateau. The approach is a challenging drive, but the approach is beautiful. There is an entrance gate, but it is no problem to deal with. Check-in was quite simple. We booked two rooms for the four of us; two adults and two boys 12 and 14. We had Loyse for the boys with two twin beds.... More

This is the real deal - a medieval castle in the most impressive setting nestled by the River Tarn in a deep gorge with cliffs hundreds of feet high and eagles soaring gliding over head. The rooms are full of chararacter and beautifully appointed with period furniture. Our room looked along the gorge across the gardens to the pool. The... More

We have stayed at the Chateau de la Caze several times, and always look forward to going back. The service, both in the hotel and the restaurant, is absolutely spotless - thoughtful and anticipatory of our every need. Jean Paul LeCroq's cuisine is unparalleled anywhere - and we have had some really wonderful meals in our yearly visits to France... More

The Gorges du Tarn are exquisitely beautiful, as is the hotel, on the banks of the river. It's a genuine castle, with a pool, a warm welcome, delicious restaurant. More

This beautiful Chateau was gorgeous to saty at. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. This is a lovely place if you would like to get away from the hustle and bustle. It was quite difficult to get to but lucky for our trusty GPS system!! We will definitely return one day. More

A fairytale chateau set against a superb backdrop of steep cliffs, wooded gorges unusual rock formations and a fast flowing river. This hotel is charming, a lot of it appears to be original yet it is all in very good order. We had a lovely bathroom in a turret and a superb balcony with views over the river. The food in... More
