I stayed there for a ski weekend. It was perfect. The hotel is well situated in Luchon, in a quiet area and looks like a nice old palace. But it has been fully refurbished. The rooms are spacious with a fresh and modern decoration. Only the bathroom was quite small. The breakfast buffet is good and has everything you need... more
We had a fantastic stay: large room, high ceilings, very comfortable bed, palatial bathroom with jacuzzi, courteous staff, incredible breakfast - certainly much better than the average 3-star. We found it fantastic value, but then we went there at the end of summer, after most tourists had gone. more
We used this hotel as our "base camp" for three nights on a motorcycle touring holiday to the Pyrenees. It's a lovely old 18th (?) century building in a very picturesque location and has been recently renovated in a contemporary style, although this doesn't really suit the architecture.
