The hotel is a block from the town centre. Large bathroom and large room with elegant furniture - we could imagine ourselves as 19th century aristocrats. The price was relatively normal for France. The hotel is from another era! Huge rooms with gold painted furniture, I can imagine the 'grand tour' stopping there in their Red Label Bentleys before the war. And it hasn't changed much since then. Would I recommend it to a friend? Only just as I thought the price was high (I imagine it costs a fortune to maintain it).... more
