The Mercure was one of a few hotels right across the street from the train station in Arras... the proprietors spoke some English and were helpful in gettng what was required... had a 12 day stay and the quarters became a little cramped as was working there most of the evening... Stayed two nights, Friday and Saturday over the UK Bank Holiday. Booked through a last minute deal, so slightly discounted from the norm for a superior room. This hotel was everything I could ask for in a hotel,clean,comfortable,good location, good value for money. It is right outside the train station on Place Marechal Foch and is a stone's throw from the two main squares in Arras. Our room was lovely and big too. I can't recommend this highly enough more
