We stayed one night at the Alexandra at the end of November; the rooms were clean, comfortable, warm and double-glazed, so it did not matter that we faced a busy street. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. We did not breakfast at the hotel; it's cheaper in any of the local cafes, and better for people-watching. more
