I stayed here for the weekend with a coach load from my village. The owners are in evidence and were helpful and friendly as far as possible given they speak no English. This is a slightly quirky hotel, but in no bad sense. It's well-situated (most others being out of town) and friendly, with nice (if dated) rooms. If you want to stay in Valenciennes to be in the town, stay here! more
