Hello, this was our first time at Etap. We stayed at this hotel to go to the Braderie de Lille, a period when hotels are always scarce.
Perfect for one night, downtown Lille is only 10 minutes (car) away from Villeneuve d'Ascq. Parking was safe and is free, no problems there.
If you have little or no luggage (there's no elevator), try to get a room on the upper floors which does not look out onto the main road and gas station.
All rooms are equipped for three (double bed below, single bed on top). Room was fine with a small bathroom and very clean.
No restaurant in the hotel but a few automatic machines and anyway, Quick (fast food, hamburgers) and Courtepaille (grill) restaurants are within walking distance.
Buffet breakfast was OK (no fresh fruit or croissants but this is a budget hotel so that's probably normal). Coffee, tea, milk, cereal, juice, biscuits, cake, cheese, butter, French bread, Nutella, different jams in abundance. Have an early breakfast... more
