We stayed here overnight after arriving on the afternoon cross channel ferry at Caen ( it took us an hour and a half to get to Alencon). The hotel was easy to find and the staff were very helpful and friendly and they let us check in early. The room was basic but it was clean and comfortable and for 49 Euro's a night I wasn't complaining. The bar area was nice and the staff there very pleasant also. In many years of travelling around France, we have never been let down by an Ibis. Ok, they may be samey, but they are clean comfortable and safe samey! This Ibis is well-located. We had no difficulty with parking on the street. more
