We have been to Clarys Plage for the last 2 summers and I would highly recommend. Clarys has everything, walk to the beach, walk to street market, walk to restuarants, everthing at hand if wanted Super site. more

We are a family of four, the kids are 10 and 7. There is a lot to do in the vicinity, from horse riding to quad biking to kite surfing, water parks, bike riding... the list is long. Le Clarys Plage is just outside St Jean de Monts in the Vendee, France. Getting there: We took the Ferry from Portsmouth to St Malo which was enjoyable and meant we only had 150 miles to drive in France.
