Lovely hotel room, (had a laugh when we heard a little dog barking next door as we passed by). friendly staff and absolutely delicious french breakfast and the BEST coffee we had tasted in the 2 weeks we spent in france. Le Carlton couldn't be more centrally located - across from the train station and the 25-story Tour Perret, at the intersection of a major artery and a lovely pedestrian mall. This hotel is a 3 star and a solid one at that. This hotel was the one chosen by the Western Front tour I was on, for the French component. (4 nights). Because of the significance of this particular Anzac Day in France, hotel rooms in the area were at a premium and the tour had hotels changed previously because of double bookings at the original hotel. Booked a coach tour to Amiens, and found we were at the Le Carlton. We spent 2 nights here. Good base for a tour of the WW1 memorials and the centre of Amiens. We asked for a large room and were given nice double with 2 window views over the boulevard.
