WE have been astonished and saddened to read the unfavourable reviews about this charming BandB. We travel frequently between our Provencale Mas and the Isle of Man and have stayed at the Manoir on many occasions. We arrived with an elderly parent and were very surprised not to be in the Manor itself which looked very beautiful. Instead we were directed round to what appeared to be the servants' quarters, very rundown and dark, accessed by very uneven path over grass which was almost impossible for anyone with mobility problems. We booked this accomodation after finding it on Alastair Sawdays website. We thought it looked like something a bit different we would like to try. On a previous visit to Ardres for lunch we sought out a suitable Bed and Breakfast and were directed here.
