We stayed in Les Gentianes in early 2008. It is a family run hotel which offers bed and breakfast accommodation in Alpe d'Huez. The location is great, a v short walk to the main lift base and an equally short walk to the village centre, shops, restaurants etc. We had an east facing room which was small but clean and adequate for a ski weekend when you don't spend much time there. There was no toilet in the room, which was a surprise.... more
We stayed here during the carnaval week in 2006 for the ski holiday. We used 2 rooms as we are a family of 5. This hotel qualifies itself as 2 star. It doesn't deserve more. Breakfast is so so. When you are going to ski you need a proper breakfast, which we didn't have here. Only 1 croissant per person... more
