After reading other reviews here I was a bit nervous however when we got there everything was fine especially considering the price I paid. Just returned from the Club hotel Amethyste, although why described as a club hotel! No wine or soft drink with dinner or free afternoon tea as expected from a club hotel. Excellent staff and management at this hotel. The manageress and deputy couldn't do enough to make everybody's stay enjoyable. The food was wholesome and there was plenty of it.Guests were treated with respect by the staff who were young and very professional.
