Set just out of town but with access to a quiet, alternative bubble up the mountain (with no queues when we were there end of January), Chalet Marie Stuart was a great place to stay in Samoens. Warm and cosy sitting room, with VERY comfortable sofa, good size bedroom with VERY comfortable bed (both of which make all the difference... More

We were a group of 12 men searching for ski and snowboard fun during the day and a relaxed homely environment to recover in, we all found more than this at Chalet Marie Stuart. Caroline and her team are fantastic hosts, we never had to, ask for anything because it was already done for us. The Chalet itself is only... More

As the organiser of our annual boys trip, the search for the Chalet holy grail is over. Chalet Marie Stuart has it all, spotlessly clean, good sized bedrooms and en-suites, AMAZING food with quality and plentiful wines, a cosy living area and great value for money. But forget all that, Chalet Marie Stuart is about Caroline. A more pleasant, hard... More

Caroline is a rare commodity - a brilliant hostess, a tremendous chef, utterly dedicated to ensuring that we had a wonderful stay, along with a great sense of humour. I had to think twice about posting this review as occasionally when you find something special you really do not want to tell too many other people about it! Caroline -... More

We are a group who have taken a ski holiday together for over 10 years and this is one of the best chalets we have ever stayed in. Caroline and Jess made us feel very welcome and looked after a very demanding and lively group. The food was outstanding quality with generous portions and no hint of the budget constraints... More

I have just come back from a four night stay at Chalet Marie Stuart and I can honestly say that that we have never been as well looked after as we were by the superb team of Caroline and Jes. The chalet is incredibly homely and relaxed and spotlessly clean, beds very comfortable and the attention to detail on the... More

From the moment you are greeted by Caroline, the chalet owner, to the point when you leave you are entering a place of comfort, relaxation and indulgence. Caroline knows how to look after people without fussing. Nothing seemed to be too much bother and we were always made to feel very welcome. Breakfast was fantastic and plenty enough to keep... More

Chalet Marie Stuart is cozy and comfortable. The bedrooms and bathrooms are super clean. Getting to the slopes is fairly convenient from this location. But my favorite part was Caroline's special touch. She is well-organized while at the same time remains completely flexible and able to help out with all kinds of requests. She allowed me to mail boxes of... More
