This is a great hotel in 1850, offering reasonable value and a homely feel in a resort known for its high prices. We felt that the hotel's strength is its restaurant. We stayed half-board, offering us a good selection for breakfast (plenty of fruit, bread, pastries, etc), as well as a fantastic dinner every night, with five or six courses on offer (including a fabulous cheese board and dessert "chariot") - although we rarely managed more than three as the portions are more than generous. The restaurant also has a fantastic view over the Courchevel valley through huge windows. The staff were very friendly yet professional, and we've stayed in five star hotels where we were treated less well. If we were to find one slightly weak point, it would be our room, which was perfectly adequate and clean, but perhaps a little small and furnished rather simply.
