We spent the new years week at the Paquis hotel. The hotel has been renovated this fall, and looks quite nice. There are several nice little areas just to sit and relax, a nice dining room with great view (if it is not too foggy or snowy like we had in most cases....). There is also a small spa with sauna, hamman and wirlpool. The skilocker rooms is nice and has heating for your shoes. From the exit of the locker room it is only very short walk to the slopes.

Rooms are a bit small, typical french, but nice and clean with a lot of wood. Only there was no way to mount the shower head and also no screen, so having a shower does result in a bit of a mess....New towels etc were provided daily.

The breakfast was in buffet style, only bread was served to the table (but you could get as much as you like). Croissaints and pain au chocolat at the buffet, so is cheese, ham, yoghurt, etc. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, orange juice are available. In the evening there is a five... more
