Really enjoyed a two week stay. Staff genuinely friendy and helpful. Location short stroll to the Tignes Sport centre which is worls class. Much preferred Le Lac to the moonscape of Val Claret. The wine included with dinner was at first undrinkable but a new supplier was found and the later week was adequate quality. more

I have just returned from a week at this hotel and had an amazing week! The staff were great from start to finish. I was a little concerned about being confined to the hotel for meals every night but the food was brilliant and I cannot fault anything about the food! In addition the afternoon tea was delicious... I am... more

I agree with Toabster review from 2006. I'm not going to rewrite it all but just compliment on key points. Four of us went (two couples), two of us had never snowboarded before (or ski'd), our age range is/was 28-31 and we went in Jan 2009 for 1 week. From meeting the Mark Warner staff at the airport to being... more

Another Mark Warner must do better holiday experience. Problems started with M.W. charter flight (Flybe) to Geneva, propeller plane not large enough to accomodate all luggage so some people had to wait 3 days into the holiday for their ski equipment and clothes to be sent to them. When arriving at the airport we all proceeded to wait around the... more

Gatwick check in was fantastic, no problems at all.. got to departure lounge and this is where I had my first heated moment...as I have expensive ski boots I thought I would pack them in my hand luggage, they were under the weight and size.... as far as i know it doesn't say anywhere on the ticket that this isnt... more

If you hate early flights and long coach transfers (4 hours) and if you're looking for luxury, this is definitely not for you! This is a Mark Warner Ski Hotel and is basic - it could do with complete re-decoration. However, for a group/family ski trip, it's absolutely fine as you're not in your room much. The staff are really... more

yes its not the best hotel ever or has the best accommodation or food but if you want a great skiing holiday and the chance to meet lots of people this is the place- especially if you have kids and want to enjoy yourself without the kids. My daughter is nine and was taken for skiing lessons and brought back... more

A great location, able to ski in/out to 100m. The rooms are a little tired but OK. Food and wine plentiful to the usual Mark Warner standard.Good value early and late season with discounts, overpriced during other times. If you can put up with all the Mark Warner 'rules' --- Clubmed it is not!!-- would recommend it, bearing in mind the... more

Hotel is more a low 2 star than an expensive 3 star. The staff were good and plenty of them but the price does not equal the standard. It is way overpriced, the standard of hotel bedrooms is poor with old and tired bathrooms. For this price you could get a lot better. more

Stayed at L'Aguille Percee with Mark Warner in March 2006 with my girlfriend. Was initially concerned with hordes of children running around the hotel but in reality this was as good a hotel to stay at with family as it is to stay with your friend or partner. Good Points: 1. Excellent location, approx 30 second walk to the bottom... more
