Just returned from this great hotel, travelled with a group of 12 friends to visit the nearby wine festival located in Wolf. Bedrooms are of a decent size all appear to have a small seating area great mattresses, and even better duvets and pillows. The showers could do with a bit of updating, but in all fairness they are functional... more

This is the most welcoming, warmest hotel in Trarben Trarbach, possibly in the Mosel region. The owners are so wonderful and treat you like family from the minute you walk in (altough they do not smother you!) . The food for lunch and dinner are truly outstanding, and the breakfasts are delicous. The rooms are your normal, standard German hotel... more

Richard and Mirelees Almacher run this traditional German family hotel in the charming town of Traben-Trarbach, situated on the river Mosel half way between Trier and Koblenz. They always offer a warm welcome with a glass (it has been known to be a jug) of their own wine and are happy to prepare something to eat, no matter the time.... more
