Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Tiny room, no space for luggage at all, bizzare bathroom in the room frosted glass no privacy, no socket by the bed, Dated seventies decor, noisy no sound proofing at all, Tiny wardrobe. I was supposed to have a double room but the space was more suitable for someone alone and under 4 feet tall, thank god I only stayed one night. Don't stay here if you like space and comfort, peace and quiet or anything that resembles a four star hotel, because it offers none of these things.

A nice, modern hotel close to the city center. They were very child friendly and had everything we needed to make traveling with an infant work (including air conditioning for hot nights so we didn't need to worry about street noise and block out curtains). Tasty breakfast as well served until 11am.

Hotel Constancia is located a 100 meters from the old town of Constance and one can walk from there to almost all places of interest in Konstanz. The rooms are modern - the hotel was renovated in 2009 - but not very big. All amenities and necessities are there, however. The reception desk is helpful with providing maps and infos on restaurants, public transport, nearby speciality shops and bus routes.... make sure you get some parking in the inner courtyard... spaces are limited and tight, and if your arrival is in the late pm or evening only street parking will be available.

While visiting in Germany we were unable to secure train tickets. Laura, at the front desk, was extremely helpful and patient in helping us to navigate a system unknown to us. She made our stay much more pleasant and relaxing!

Got a tiny room on the second floor they call a “triple room” for a family of four; that room had 2.2m high ceilings and PVC windows which meant that we were gasping for air by the morning, however the worst thing about the room was an idiotically designed bathroom with fully transparent glass walls (in a family room!) and doors that wouldn’t close properly, so one got no privacy there whatsoever; a very disappointing experience overall, avoid!

The room we stayed in was on the second floor and very noisy from the street and the people upstairs (Saturday night). We both used earplugs to sleep. Breakfast is ok for the price, rooms are very clean. Plugs are far from the bedside and internet is a bit slow. The man at the check out wasn’t particularly nice. Overall for this price (€98 for two people) should you expect much more?

We were in Konstanz for a quick shopping trip and stayed in Hotel Constantia. We booked a room with a large double bed however the bed was very small and the room only slightly bigger than the bed. This was disappointing. However the room was tastefully decorated. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast very good.

Very comfortable room, staff is very helpful and friendly, very good breakfast buffet. Also convenient to walking area downtown and not a long walk to the lake front. It does not have air conditioning but that is not unusual in older European hotels.
