This hotel certainly lived up to expectations. The location is very central, within easy walking distance of shops, railway, bus and ferry stations, the public areas are nicely decorated with a welcoming bar and restaurant. We stayed for one night at the hotel in August and it was great. The room we had was huge, it was more like an apartment and my adult daughter who was with us had a separate room in an upstairs loft. Stayed at this hotel and while the location was good and the town was charming, this hotel was not so good. The room was so small I could touch one wall with my hand and the opposite wall with my foot. No A/C and a tiny window high up on the wall that I could not look out of. Also... more

We had a large, comfortable room at this hotel. We were there in June and it was warmer than expected. The Bucchorner Hof has air conditioning, which is not available in many German hotels. The staff is pleasant and a nice breakfast buffet is provided. We ate dinner in the hotel restaurant one night and had one of the best... more
