This is by far the most charming hotel we have ever stayed in. The very old half-timbered hotel (from the 1730) has recently been renovated and is very well preserved. Staying there gives you a feeling of being back in the Middle Ages. The location in the old town is excellent. A couple of minutes walking to the kaiserpfalz, 2 minutes to the market place, 1 minute to the river and 5 minutes to Rammelsberg bergbaumuseum. The rooms are good and clean. The staff is friendly. The hotel is very affordable! more
