Stayed over with Treyn tour to Harz Mountains. Very nice rooms, excellent buffet style hot and cold breakfasts and dinners. We stayed at this hotel with Treyn Holidays. The hotel is a very 1960's concrete box however the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The staff were all extremely friendly and spoke good English. We stayed at this Hotel for one week as part of an organised tour to the Harz Mountains. It was lovely, quiet and friendly and we wouldn't hesitate to use it again if we travel independently to the area. Whilst in Germany for CeBit 2013, instead of staying in Hanover we stayed about an hour away at this hotel. There were about 10 of us all together and noone had any issues with the rooms or the hotel. Our room had a cracked sink (yes I know we should have complained but having settled after a long journey, the thought of changing rooms was not appealing.) Friendly and welcoming. For the price, excellent food and accommodation. This was a Christmas break and they made it feel festive, even to Father Christmas handing out presents on Christmas Eve. Visited whilst with Treyn. Holidays, Excellent tour company and fab hotel.. Location amazing and receptionists very helpful,knowledgeable. The local area is ideal for the amazing steam trains and near by Goslar. Is. Gem to find. Recommend for treyn

“Lovely Lakeside Hotel”

Good hotel, lovely location on the lakeside - we had a room overlooking the lake Bus stop right by hotel for service to Goslar Booked as part of a trip Hotel furnishing dated but excellent value and very clean

“Shame about the pillows.”

Stayed for a week as part of Treyn holiday group. Nice, spacious room with clean, if dated, facilities - no bath. Big issue with the very thin pillows, though did get extras. Buffet meals were all good with plenty of choice most days. Desserts limited but good. Nice small pool and sauna suite. Great location for walks.
