This village is my wife's hometown, so we travel to Germany and Busum frequently. The Deichgraf is great value, the location is very good, close to the dike and the water in Deichhausen. It is simple, does not have an elevator, but the stairway is wide and easy. Incredibly clean! But best of all, the breakfasts are incredible, and their restaurant is beyond description. WONDERFUL FOOD! This is not a ritzy fancy hotel, but a clean, friendly and comfortable gasthaus. Check in at the restaurant...typical of German gasthaus'. Located in Deichhausen, about 1 mile from Busum, 2 miles from the Busum beach area. more
