The Gallus hotel is a comfortable, friendly establishment in the pleasant town of Beilngries. It's an excellent base from which to explore the pretty Altmuehltal valley. We stayed four nights with our six month old baby and found all the staff very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The hotel restaurant was excellent, serving delicious freshly-prepared local dishes. Our only gripe was that our room was not vacuumed once during our stay, nor were the pretty hand-smears placed by our baby on the mirror wiped away! However, this is overall a very pleasant and friendly hotel and comes highly recommended.
